- 45 age old female, unemployed single mum with 3 children
- Presenting with pain, bleeding gums and metallic taste in the mouth
- She has experienced similar symptoms last year, visited GP who prescribed antibiotics & Listerine
- Systemic health: hypertension, controlled with medication
- Allergic to penicillin
- Family history: unknown
- Heavy smoker (>15 cigarettes a day for more than 10 years)
