Posterior teeth – sequence of treatment

First identify distal and mesial line angles on buccal and lingual surface of posterior teeth that divide surfaces to distal, mid-buccal and mesial sections

Sequence 1
Always start from distal line angle
and scale towards distal surface
Sequence 2
Proceed from distal line angle towards mesial
Sequence 3
Continue from mesial line angle towards mesial surface.
